2nd West Nile Virus Case of Year ID'd in Cochise County

COCHISE COUNTY - The second human case of West Nile virus in Arizona this year has been identified in a Cochise County man in his 60s.

The man, who was not identified by name or city, was hospitalized with encephalitis but has recovered.
He is the second individual this year in the state to be infected with the mosquito-borne virus.

The first case was in a Mesa man in his 50s who developed West Nile fever, a mild form of the disease.
